As I continue to learn more about the real 'self' and other ontological concepts, I am drawn to, among other things, the simplicity of the yin yang.
In the yin yang, as in life, the black must co-exist with the white, while also containing the white. The white must co-exist with the black, while also containing the black. One cannot overtake the other, or both would cease to exist. The negative and positive are forever intertwined in a cosmic dance of balance.
That is all to say, fall is my favourite season. Fall is a seasonal yin yang, where bright azure blue sky days followed by grey, misty days, and both hold their own beauty and functionality. These pictures were taken on the latter.

This fly chose the husk of this Allium 'Millenium' as its final resting place. Gotta say, kind of jealous. <3
