An ounce of prevention (and 3-in-one oil)

My Felco pruners (#2) were treated well this year; being freshly sharpened by a local knife sharpener, and now in advance of winter, they have been fully disassembled, cleaned, and oiled.

I was gifted these last year, and they were the first set that I considered 'lifetime' pruners.

After some serious shrub and tree removal this year, they were due for some love.

There's a metaphor here about relationships, etc., but for now, I will just say, "Take care of the things that you love" :)
