Anemone Mine

As you know, this is a hosta household.  It is the main feature in all of the gardens, and we currently have over 80 types.  However, like a well planned meal, variety is the spice of life.

One of the ways we have added variety to our gardens this year is by adding several beautiful varieties of Anemone (pronounced a-NEM-oh-nee, or as a local garden center calls them AN-e-MOHN 😃).

So far we have added the varieties of Curtain Call Pink, Whirlwind, and a new favorite Wild Swan, which is accented with bluey-purple petals on the back of the white flowers.  A couple others I have seen locally are White Swan and September Charm, both nice and possible future adds.
