Go Big or Go Home

 This is the time of year when I start to plan the gardens for the coming spring.  One thing I am looking for this year is a large foliage plant that is not a hosta.

So far, these are the Top 3 candidates:

 Darmera Peltata 

Ligularia (several varieties)

 Rodgersia

Anyone have experience or preference on the above?
